The company is owned and run by Francis Prime.

He is an Audio Engineering Graduate who has spent the majority of his working life in the research and development of audio products. Employment has included KEF Audio and Martin Audio, developing high-end audio equipment.

Career began working at the Oxford University Central Electronics Group supporting the design and build of research equipment for large scale projects such as the (Large Hadron Collider).

Mojam Design Limited was started in 2008 and is based in Oxford, UK. The name Mojam is derived from the Swahili word "Moja", meaning the number one.
